On 15 July, Combs posted an image of the new Ciroc Pineapple bottle from his “iamdiddy” account, which read: “BREAKING NEWS … I WANTED YOU TO BE THE FIRST TO KNOW!!! #TAKETHATTAKETHAT RT RP TO THE WORLD!”

The following day, the star posted another image, with the caption: “BREAKING NEWS!!! ANNOUNCING THE NEW #CirocPineapple COMING TO A STORE NEAR YOU!!! RT RP.”

In addition, Combs also posted what appears to be a promotional trailer for Ciroc Pineapple, featuring a singer Cassie enjoying Ciroc Pineapple while relaxing in a pool.

The new expressions will join Ciroc’s existing portfolio, which includes Ciroc Peach, Ciroc Coconut, Ciroc Red Berry and Ciroc Amaretto.

Combs gave no hints as to when or where Ciroc Pineapple would be launched, but if previous launches are anything to go by it could first be launched in the US before being rolled out globally at a later date.

Combs – previously known as P Diddy and Puff Daddy – has been involved with Ciroc since 2007 when he agreed to be spokesperson for the brand with the stipulation of a 50% return on profits.
