REVOLT MUSIC CONFERENCE 2014 by Mogul Media TV

Revolt founder Sean “Puffy” combs took Miami by storm for the 1^st Inaugural Revolt Music Conference at the exclusive Fontainebleau Hotel. The event was consisted of moguls, entertainers and executives with over 25 year experience in the music business. The two-day Revolt Music Conference was a sold-out event both days. Inspirational keynote speaker Russell Simmons encouraged the young group of budding entrepreneurs to stay hungry and appreciate the power of managing one’s mind.  Day Two panels featured some of the biggest titans of their perspective industries including Frank Cooper (CMO of PepsiCo) and Marc Ecko (Founder & Chief Brand Officer of Complex Media) discussing “Brands and Artists”, legendary music producers Dallas Austin and Rodney Jerkins debating “The Business of Music Publishing” with singer-songwriter James Fauntleroy and Jessica Rivera (SVP, Head of East Coast Operations of Universal Music Publishing).

Sean Combs advised all those in attendance that “Nobody is going to give you nothing out here. You’re going to have to literally go and take it, in a positive way: by earning it, working hard every day, and doing the things no one else is going to do — including getting cheese cake.” He offered career advice for the sold out crowd and later he had Q&A with audience. Founder of Interscope Records Jimmy Iovine presented “Started from the bottom now we hear awards” and spoke about his 40 year tenor in the music industry.  It was a motivational showcase of how to create success with the resources you have. REVOLT Music Conference featured ten full conference panels and countless networking opportunities designed to address key industry topics and discuss the ever-changing world of music and media.

While Mogul Media Tv was in attendance we learned what’s next for the future of music and media business from over forty speakers including keynote sessions from Clear Channel Chairman/CEO and MTV co-founder Bob Pittman, CEO of All Def Digital and co-founder of Def Jam Russell Simmons, co-founder and CEO of Beats Electronics Jimmy Iovine and chairman of Combs Enterprises and REVOLT TV Sean Combs.  Additional speakers include executives poerful brands such as Shazam, Spotify, Pandora, Grey Advertising, VEVO, SoundCloud, Sirius XM, Wall Street Journal, Billboard, and REVOLT TV CEO Keith Clinkscales. It was a historic successful two-day event, and Mogul Media Tv was honored to be a part of Revolt music tech revolution. The Revolt Music Conference was great for the City of Miami Beach. I’m sure next year will be even bigger and better!
