Ex-hedge funder Martin Shkreli has done what some may consider as severely wrong. He has purchase the rights to the Daraprim , the drug which is used to treat AIDS patients. The drug was $13.50 a tablet which was affordable for patients who had the virus to treat it but now the price has skyrocketed up to $750 per tablet. The worlds feedback has been nothing but criticizing the drastic price increase of an affordable drug. Daraprim is the drug that treats toxoplasmois, an opportunistic parasitic infection that can cause serious and life-threatening problems. Shkreli has made comments like “the drug was underpriced” which hasn’t sat well with many individuals. He sat down with Bloomberg News for an interview, take a look below and give you opinion.
