Nasir “Nas” Jones has been a prolific hip hop rapper with longevity to say the least. This 20 year veteran has been on his entrepreneurship the last couple years opening sneaker boutiques, partnering with restaurants, co founding investment firms, putting out music and now stopping in hollywood to step behind the camera. Yes, Nas will be executive producer a movie starring Erykah Badu and Michael K Williams called “The Land”. He will also produce the whole soundtrack to the film. “The Land” which was written and directed by Steven Caple jr will debut at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2016. The Land is about four teenage boys who escape the streets of Cleveland to become professional skateboarders, but get caught up in situations with the local drug boss played by Erykah Badu.
