The Oklahoma City Thunder has some big decisions to make this summer after losing their top gun Kevin Durant to the Golden State Warriors with free agency. That move was not expected by OKC, so now what would they do to solidify their team with a franchise leader. Russell Westbrook is their next big superstar who has been playing like an all star mvp this season unanimously, so they signed him to a 3 year contract worth $85 million.
He will make $26.5 million this season in 2016-2017, $28.5 million in 2017-2018 and he will have a player option for the last year for $30.6 million in 2018-19. This deal should make OKC feel better and know that they will have a scoring superstar who leaves it all on the floor committed to the Thunder for the next three seasons.
