Dr. Foyekemi Ikyaator, a 32 year old Nigerian doctor has opened up her very own emergency room in Houston , Texas.  At the top of 2016, she cut the ribbon for her very own 24hr full standing “Life Savers Emergency Room”. This is a facility which can take patients quicker than any hospital, is equipped with a pharmacy, top of the line radiology equipment  with an onsite laboratory as well. The wait time to see patients is drastically shortened compared to a hospital where we know waiting can be an hour or more in an emergency room. Ikyaator has years of experience working in the medical field from health office, labs to hospitals, which gave her the courage to start her own facility. She is a extremely well rounded doctor with a passion to help individuals get their health in order. This is a very big achievement in the medical field as a whole. Hopefully this will spark a movement of other doctors following her lead and open more facilities like this.
