On Thursday December.20th, 2018 something amazing took place by several key organizations who continue to give back to the community all year around. The Lions Club, HBL Civic and Entrepreneur Life Inc came together to create a successful Toy Drive for two family shelters in (South Ozone Park) Queens, NY. This collaboration brought smiles to the faces of about 300 people consisting of kids and parents. The night consisted of good music, a variety of catered food, family photos with Santa Claus and hundred of toys being giving out to the smiling kids. As the families walked in they enjoyed beautiful holiday decor by TMG Enterprise NY which consisted of red table cloths, christmas themed centerpieces, ceiling decor and amazing christmas backdrop with red drapery.
The families were so grateful and appreciative of what these foundations were able to do for them. The smiles on all of the kids faces were a gift in itself. Each volunteer played a pivotal part in the success of this event from serving the food, taking pictures, donating the toys, setting up the event, interacting with the families, and most of all giving there time to give back to the community. ” Its our duty to give back to our community and assist with the changing for the better.
