(L-R) Danny Garcia throws a right to the body of Lucas Matthysse during their WBC/WBA super lightweight title fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on September 14, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Danny “Swift” Garcia is a true champion, role model and giver to his community where he was raised Philadelphia. Being a top fighter in his weight class of 181lb he has sustained a strong record of 31 wins and 0 losses while holding the WBA and WBC belts as a champ. The Puerto Rican boxer grew up in the rough area of North Philly Garcia has seen his tribe and tribulation but has used boxing to escape the downfalls while rising to the occasion in each boxing match to become great. So with success come financial independence in which Garcia uses some of his winnings to start a clothing line called “DSG”, built a professional recording studio for his music artist, built a boxing gym which is open to the kids in the community, built the “DSG” barbershop and also build himself a beautiful residential mansion. Garcia loves to give back to the community that raised him and the kids who look up to him. He definitely knows the value of being a true role model.
